ISLAS TABLE IN CIPOLLINO MARBLE AND BURNISHED BRASS. PHOTOS BY LEO TORRI, 2024

Islas breaks down the logic of the traditional dining table: two distinct elements, living with their own aesthetics and functionality, come together to create a unique, majestic, sculptural piece. Like atolls in symbiosis with each other, the Islas table is composed of multiple elements to create an ever-changing geography depending on the space that surrounds them.

Its top has an organic shape, sharp and light, designed by fluid curves and taut arcs. While the base is monolithic, composed of solid marble volumes and finely handcrafted tapered metal wedges. A perpetual play of duality: two paired pieces that give life to the collection and several combinations. Two are the materials used: marble, Neutra’s material of election, and metal, precious and refined in its workmanship and finish. Two souls have given rise to the shape: one more decorative, organic and spontaneous, the other more measured, rigorous, and minimalist. And finally, two Neutra brand identities come together perfectly in this work: on the one hand, the traditional vocation of controlled, hand-finished craftsmanship. On the other, technological research, which has accompanied its genesis, from design up to production and setting up.

ISLAS TABLE CAN BE USED EITHER WITH INDIVIDUAL PIECES OR IN PAIRS.
